Idyllwild Performing Arts Center

sander architects recently completed a concert hall for Idyllwild Arts. With world-class acoustics and a budget far under cost of comparable projects, the building counters the trend for institutional, cultural and museum projects that have ever-expanding budgets.

More on this project here.

Whitney Sander was interviewed by PRNFM, Radio for Professionals on October 16th, 2016. He shared his insights on how the studio uses prefab strategies within the context of high design to create interesting projects with highly efficient budgets. Check it out here.

Whitney Sander will attend the Community College Facility Coalition from Sept 14 - 16, 2016 in Sacramento, CA. As "the voice ... for professionals engaged in California’s community college facilities," the conference is a great place to spread the word about our new concert hall, the William M Lowman Concert Hall, a world-class facility completed for far less than comparable projects. More on the hall here.

Sander Architects, LLC will submit an entry to the

AWR competition "House of Music" organized by Architecture Workshop in Rome. The competition is set on a site in Golden Gate Park in SF. The competition provides our studio with an opportunity to explore and refine many of our thoughts on designing concert halls. It has been a rewarding process.
